CDJ USB eject button malfunction

Hi,

I have 2 CDJ2000NXS in great condition and working beautifully. However, after a while the USB Stop button on one of them stopped working entirely. However long I press it, the USB is not ejecting (track still loaded, light still flashes, nothing happens). I have tried rebooting, upgrading the software, reseting to default settings, everything. The USB Stop button simply doesn't respond anymore.

I work my way around it with a link and a stick on the other CDJ so it's still usable. However it gets very awkward when I play with others and the other DJ basically have to yank their USB out and risk corrupting it every single time. Is there a way to safely remove a USB if the USB Eject is not responding? Like loading a track from the linked stick before removing it? Or turning off the CDJ while the stick is still plugged before removing it?

If not, is there a USB hub that can be used on the functioning CDJ to allow me to plug several sticks to 1 CDJ and link it with another CDJ, without using a laptop? Has anyone had that malfunction before, and if yes how much would it roughly cost to repair?

Thank you
