HFS+ with XDJ-RX2

I recently upgraded to a RX3 and reformatted my USB stick to HFS+ (MBR)

Works great on RX3 and is faster with exports in RekordBox.

But when I use the same stick on a RX2 I receive a No Response error. Wait a few seconds longer and the USB is loading and I can use it. More people experience this? Will it give issues when I play for longer with this stick on a RX2? Don't want to go to silence when I play on such a device.

Never had the issue with FAT32 on my old RX2 but that was really slow in RekordBox.
