DDJ-1000 Tempo Fader Not Working

Purchased DDJ-1000, brand new out the box however right side decks tempo fader doesn't work not the performance pads. While tempo fader is in middle position, Rekordbox reads as 2.1% higher tempo, and the BPM value stutters. Tempo does not change value when moving fader up & down. 

Really Frustrating as it is not even a day old!!!!!
