CDJ 3000 - stuck all lights on, blank screen

Hello - hoping there is some info someone can relay on how to force a firmware update on CDJ3000.  Powered on one day and all lights are stuck on, blank black screen. Unresponsive.  Was running firmware 3.11 which was installed in Nov.  No updates since. Tried to do normal firmware install procedure, but device did not recognize powering on, no cables attached, both loop buttons held down.
