Advice for a new laptop to run a DDJ-400

Can anyone recommend either a bug fix or a new laptop to run my ddj-400. Theres a random glitch in the music, I've tried all the usual fixes. Been suggested the laptop isn'tup to it, but its a Dell with plenty of ram and power, intel core i7. Any suggestions or laptop recommendations very much appreciated. Its that or buy a standalone controller. What's best, opinions welcome, thanks.
