CDJ 2000 v4.33 Intermittent problems
Hi there,
I've had a couple of CDJ 2000's for a few years now and always worked great. Recently however, they've started exhibiting some unusual behaviour that I can't quite tie down and looking for some pointers...
Firstly, one of the CDJs has an infrequent issue there the screen will kind of 'digitize' as if its suffering interference/static making the display unstable and/or unreadable. Sometimes it will then kick back into life and be fine, other times its as if the screen [but not the unit itself] reboots as the Pioneer boot-up screen appears and the display then goes back to normal [without affecting a track playing on the CDJ at the time thankfully!]
The other CDJ has - as of last night - started being really strange. Boots up fine. But I put a USB stick in [which works fine in the other CDJ] and pressing the USB button brings up nothing. Pressing the Link button brings up nothing either. Same USB works fine in the other CDJ and vice versa, a USB working in the other CDJ displays the same strange behaviour in this CDJ. Sometimes leaving the CDJ switched on for a while and then switching off and on again resolves things but obviously its a concern.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
David

PS - the link cable is obviously recognised as the CDJs display their correct player numbers
