Is there a way to get the dj play count to only update when a track has actually been played out (vs just at home while practising a gig for instance)? 
It seems to me like the count comes from how many history playlists contain a certain track.. I'm wondering if deleting all histories except for the ones that are actually live gigs would do the trick.. or if there is a more straight forward way or anything I'm missing.

Hi Mark,

The DJ count will always add up when playing a track for a minimum of 60 seconds.

Please also note that the DJ Play Count will add up when playing a track from your Music Collection.

If you load a track from an external drive, the track played will not add this information.

Bear in mind that Traffic Light will not work either in this case.

Hi Yves, 

thanks for the reply. I was locked out of this forum until now (can't get it to work on Chrome) until now..  there isn't a way to deactivate this behaviour? It's annoying to have the dj play count update automatically after a track has simply been played at home.. as I'm only interested in keeping track of how ofter it's been played at gigs..
