Rekordbox 7 distorts my FLAC files

I use: MacBook Pro, i9, 16G, DDJ-FLX4. FLAC files on a USB drive
I just installed RB7 and noticed a problem with my FLAC files. 
They all play fine with RB6.8.5 but on RB 7, after about 25% of the way through the song they start to distort terribly. Like digital, R2D2 distortion. Unplayable.

Thinking it was just a bad FLAC, I played the same track on RB6 and it was perfect all the way through. 

I was able to reproduce this on all of the FLAC files I tested. Fine on RB6, R2D2 on RB7

Has anyone else witnessed this type of behavior? I know, this is version 7.0.0 (all those zeros make me nervous, lol)
