just got pioneer djm s11 - and when i disconnect laptop power cord i get drops out

just got the djm s11 and now when i unplug my laptop power cord or plug it in while playing a song i will get a solid second drop out / freeze of the song.  this didnt' happen with my s9...  is there a power saver removal i can do on my PC or is there something else i should know about in regard to fix this?  also my bluetooth is already disengaged
