Rekordbox keeping external SSD hostage

Hi all, 

I was wondering if someone can help me with an issue I am having. This is the first time I am using RB as I just purchased the rx3 (previously used Serato). I wanted to set up my RB library and music folder on an external SSD so that I can change between computers. However, now I am having a hard time ejecting the drive on windows. When I try to eject drive, it says that it is currently being used by a program, which I am assuming is RB. However, if I try to eject the drive through RB, it gives me an error stating that I cannot eject the drive that contains the library and should close the software and eject. 

I am able to eject the drive if I reboot the PC without an issue. Is there a trick to how to more easily and safely eject my external drive without having to reboot the computer each time?
