Xdj 1000mk2 is frozen upon load

My new XDJ-1000MK2 is frozen when I turn it on after it does the load sequence (have used two times with no problems). The screen turns on, I see the home screen but none of the buttons work. Nothing happens when you press buttons on the touch the screen. I plug in different thumb drives and it won't load them up. Nothing happens when I plug it into my USB with Rekordbox. Nothing happens when I try to link it via Ethernet to another working XDJ. 

I am on v1.44 for the firmware. I have tried to update the firmware and it doesn't load the firmware screen when I press IN + RELOOP/Exit. I have tried this same method of firmware update with my other XDJ 1000MK2 and it works fine. 

Is there a way to hard reset this thing? What else can I try?
