Does anyone have detailed documentation on  how PRO link assigns IP addresses and the default gateway.

Gabriel

Pro DJ Link will not work unless IP Address is set to auto acquisition.

To communicate with a computer and a CDJ, it is necessary to obtain the IP address of the same network.
Pro DJ Link basically uses the Auto IP protocol to negotiate IP addresses between connected devices. (The IP address will be 169.254.xxx.xxx.)

However, if the LAN Hub has a router function, the router will assign an IP address to the connected computer or CDJ, and if both the PC and CDJ IP addresses are assigned by the router, the IP address will not be 169.254.xxx.xxx, but Pro DJ Link will work fine.

However, depending on the order in which the router and CDJs are turned on and connected, the computer may receive IP addresses from the router, but the CDJs may use Auto IP to obtain IP addresses. In this case, the CDJs can communicate with each other, but the CDJ and PC cannot.
