XDJ 1000 Mk2 Drifting

Recently bought a pair of XDj 1000 Mk2’s. Been Mixing by ear for 25 years on Technics and various Pioneer CDj’s. These are impossible to keep in time when doing long mixes. I had no problem mixing on my CDJ 2000’s previously the exact same way, so know for a fact it’s something with these XDJ’s. Even tracks at the exact same tempo/bpm are drifting where previously they were spot on without needing any adjustment. I’ve read similar posts but from years back. I am on the updated firmware etc. Any help much appreciated.
