Beat Grid button on Rekordbx 7

What happened to the shift right or left button for the beat grids? I downloaded rekordbox 7 and now when trying to beat grid tracks it is now a PITA because when you click the button to shift the grid left or right it sometimes moves over slightly like its suppose to but most of the time it makes big jumps left or right and is annoying to get the grid right where you want it to be. its very inconsistent with the movements which makes it difficult. Am I missing something in the settings or is this the new way of the buttons?
