Lighting Mode Macro Editor Not Saving Changes

I have used macro mapping to create a number of user scenes and applied these scenes to a track using the macro editor. Now on the scene tab, I can edit the lighting waveform, colour etc to refine the relationship between the lighting waveform and the analysed track. After saving the changes by clicking the save disc icon that turns blue and exiting the macro editor all my changes are not saving when I return to the macro editor and re load the same track. Is this a bug, or can changes to the macro not be made in this way? It is very difficult to create a complex macro for a specific track without being able to edit the lighting macro while displaying the track waveform. How can I save the macro after editing?
