DJM A9 tone control traktor serato

Hi I am trying to get the rane 12 mk2 to to run with traktor pro3 and the A9 mixer macbook M1pro,all updated to the latest drivers /software

The problem I'm having is, I am unable to get audio out using 1 fader/Channel , instead I have to have tone control on fader1 and the audio out from this signal from traktor on fader2. Doesn't seem to matter how I do it. I need to have tone control coming in on one fader and the audio signal on a separate fader so if I'm running 2 ranes, I have used up all the faders/channels on the mixer. 

Using the 900 nxs2 , I did not experience this problem. I was able to run tone control into fader one, and then output the audio from this control from traktor on fader1. ie 2 ranes only used 2 faders/channels on the mixer.

Is anybody out there using traktor or serato experiencing this problem.

I'm very experienced in this field I have been a DJ for over 20 years and have been using control vinyl since it started. I first used serato then I switched to traktor. I have had the rane 12mk2 for over three years and ran the 900nxs 2 and never experienced any problems like this before.

At this point Native Instruments do not have the A9 listed as a supported device for traktor,  I have reached out to native instruments, and they said that even though it's not listed, it should still work, or I can download a midi map from a third party, I said that, seeing as the 900nxs2 is no longer made by Pioneer and that the A9 is the latest DJ mixer from Pioneer it should be supported, after all we're talking about one of the leading produces of DJ equipment in the world and they still said I can download a third-party Midi map or try upgrade to traktor pro 4 however, this does not have the A9 listed either. Considering the A9 was released well over a year ago, this seems pretty slack to me.  However in native instruments defence I am not 100% sure that having the A9 supported would fix this problem but Pioneer are saying that because it's not supported it probably is. At least if native instruments, added it as a supported device I could then rule this out.  At this point Pioneer have been very helpful and have been trying to work through the problem with me, whilst native instruments have not said when they will add the A9 as a supported device and to either download a third party midi made by somebody unknown or upgrade to a version that doesn't list it as a supported device not very helpful.

Any thoughts or help on this matter would be greatly appreciated
