Issues Rekordbox connecting to XDJ-XZ in performance mode

Hi all none of the eqs or effects are working on my controller when connected to rekordbox on performance mode. I've updated the firmware on my xdj-xz to 1.24 and running Rekordbox 6.8.5 on mac os sonoma 14.6.1 but nothing transfers over to the software when modifying the eqs or the trim dials on the controller. Any help[p here as to why?
