Master track acting as beat sync instead of BPM sync.

Hi, I have sync set to BPM sync.  If I nudge the slave deck it acts as expected, but yet if I nudge the master deck instead of nudging the master track forward or backward to correct a slightly off beatmatch, it just speeds/slows down both decks the same amount.  Is there any way to change this behavior to get it to work the way it should?
