ddj-xp2

so I have the XP2. When I hooked it up I noticed that the sound for the xp2 only works on channel 1 on my controller. I have to use channels 3 and 2 for the sound to play on both sides instead of the typical channels 1 and 2

I am using the Denon MCX8000 controller

what did I do wrong here
