ddi 800 rekordbox7 and scratchlive vinyls?

I have a ddj 800 with recordbox 7.

I've just got hold of some 1210s and was hoping to use along side with the ddj as the mixer.

A mate has given me some scratch live dis vinyls, but I can't seem to get it going??

 

Do I need rekordbox vinyl instead? don't want to buy an interface if I can avoid it

If you want to use DVS with the DDJ-800 you would need to have a paid plan activated.

And yes, you would also need rekordbox timecode vinyls and not scratch live timecodes.
