Trouble connecting XDJ-RX2 to Rekordbox with usb-

Hi Everyone, 

I have never used Rekordbox directly from my mac plugged in with usb cable into my XDJ-RX2, I have always exported to a separate usb. That always works fine! 

However now I  would like to connect my mac to my RX2, in order to use Beatport streaming through rekordbox with the XDJ-RX2. 

I believe I have updated the drivers and firmware, also my firewall is turned off. However there doesn't appear be any connection between Rekordbox on my mac and the RX2. I also see no link button to connect to the RX2. 

If anyone could give me some suggestions and help I would much appreciate it! Thanks!
