DJ Flx10 USB-C to USB-A Distorted

Hello All (I am begging of HELP PLEASE),

I have had the Pioneer Flx10 for about 7 months now and the USB connections has been nothing but trouble.I have a MacBook Pro (2016) with USB-C outlets on my laptop. I need a USB-C (going into my Flx10) and USB-A (going into my MacBook Pro). I have tried different USB cords and nothing has worked. I keep getting a distorted and crackling sound. I am not looking to spend $600 for a Chroma USB-C to USB-A Cord which might not even work. All my software is up to date on both Serato and MacBook Pro laptop. PLEASE!!! Any feed back would be much appreciated.
