Rekordbox v7 questions
Hi - I'm a home/mobile DJ with an Opus Quad. I mostly play at home and only do 3-4 shows a year, mostly just for friends. I mainly use Tidal for my collection. Some questions on Rekordbox v7 before I make the upgrade:
- With the OQ, is v7 free or would I still need to subscribe to a plan? I don't need the cloud features.
- What would I be losing in v7 vs v6 if I update and don't subscribe to a paid plan?
- Can I run v6 and v7 separately or once I update to v7, am I no longer able to run v6?
- What are the big benefits of upgrading to v7 besides the reduced CPU consumption?
I've looked at the FAQs and am still unsure if I should upgrade to v7.

1. Yes, you can use Opus with rekordbox 7 for free, as it is a hardware unlock device.
2. No. Why do you think you would be losing?
3. You can still use both on the same computer.
4. It is mainly the better performance compared to ver.6.
