Restoring playlists and metadata from XML
Hey,
So I thought I was diligently backing up the meta data of my collection, by exporting the XML from Rekordbox, but apparently not.
I've been able to restore all my tracks, same file path as before. I'd also like to restore my playlists (priority) and metadata like hot cue etc (less of a priority).
Is it possible to do this using the XML Export?
Windows 11 | Very recent Rekordbox Version | Approx 30gb of tracks.

You can only do this if the audio files are stored on exactly the same filepath as when you exported the XML.
The Rekordbox.xml import bug is still in effect, but can be avoided, here I demonstrate how to avoid it on macOS, works the same on Windows:
