My DDJ-800 arrived without a license card
Hello, I'm here to ask you about my situation. I bought a Pioneer DDJ-800 controller, and everything came in perfect condition except that the license card wasn´t in the box.
I checked with the store where I bought it and I'm waiting for their response.
My question is how necessary is it to have the license card if, from what I've been reading, Recordbox 6 and 7 apparently no longer use it. Is this really the case?
Why else would I need to have the license code?
I'm a bit new to the Pioneer world and I don't quite understand how licenses work and what the difference is between the one that comes on the card with the purchase of the controller and the download versions.

The DDJ-800 is a hardware unlock device for rekordbox 6 and 7.
Which means that you just connect the controller, switch to Performance Mode and you are ready to play.
No need to activate any license key.
