CDJ 2000 MK1 + DDJ-SP1 and hot cues

I've read that you can connect the DDJ-SP1 to 2000-NXS, NXS2 and XDJ 1000 to the top USB port and through that get access to your hot cues directly on the DDJ-SP1.

But is this feature also available with the first generation CDJ 2000 (MK1)?

My old 2000s are still going strong, but I really miss hot cues and need to know if I have to upgrade to completely new/modern players to get that feature.

Hi Kenneth,

We couldn't find any indication that the CDJ-2000 and the DDJ-SP1 connection would be part of the firmware update.
https://www.pioneerdj.com/-/media/pioneerdj/downloads/firmwares/players/cdj-2000/cdj-2000-firmware-change-history-ver433-en.pdf
So it is possible that it will not be possible to connect the CDJ-2000 and and the DDJ-SP1 together. It will work with the CDJ-2000NXS, XDJ-1000MK2, and the CDJ-2000NXS2.
We checked and could confirm that the DDJ-XP2 works with the CDJ-2000NXS2 and the XDJ-1000MK2, but didn't work with CDJ-3000.
It is stated that the DDJ-XP2 doesn't work with CDJ-3000 in the FAQ.

Thanks for the info Yves, guess I'll have to upgrade in the future to get hot cues.
