DDJ-GRV6 When connecting to Recordbox it does not connect
I just got my new DDJ-GRV6 delivered today and was excited to unbox and start playing with it, however when connecting to Recordbox it does not connect and I get a notification saying "Recordbox is running using the Free Plan and cannot be controlled with the connected DJ equipment. Upgrading to a higher plan allows you to control Recordbox using the connected DJ equipment."
Do I really need to pay for a plan or is it some sort of bug? I thought it came as an unlock device. I will try reinstalling Reecordbox but I didn't want to lose any of my cue points and stuff. I'm on the newest version but I might just reinstall just in case

The DDJ-GRV6 is a hardware unlock device with rekordbox ver. 7, so you can use rekordbox in Performance by connecting the DJ controller.

I got mine over the weekend, connected to my mac book Pro after updating Rekordbox but last night ( after receiving the correct audio cable to connect to my speaker ) I tried to record a mix but the controller wouldnt connect to my mac or rekordbox the loop in and out buttons on both sides were flashing and thats all I could get out of it
Thoroughly disappointed, probably gonna send this back, takes Pioneer two days to get back to you
its the power cable its needs to be type c to type c ive had the same issue
