Feature Request: WebDAV Support for Cloud Tracks on Omnis Duo

Hey Omnis Duo Team and Fellow DJs,

I’ve been using the Omnis Duo for a while now, and it's been great, but I have a feature request that I think would really level up the controller’s functionality: WebDAV support for accessing tracks via the cloud.

WebDAV is an open-source protocol that works with most cloud services like Nextcloud and many others. It would be awesome if we could connect to a WebDAV server directly from the Omnis Duo via network, allowing us to pull tracks from our personal cloud storage.

Here’s why I think this would be a game-changer:

  1. Access Your Entire Library:
Instead of relying on local storage or USBs, we could access our entire music library stored in the cloud. This would make it way easier to stay organized and play tracks from different devices or locations.

  2. Real-Time Syncing:
By using WebDAV, DJs could update and sync their tracklists remotely. Imagine updating your setlist on your computer and instantly accessing it from the Omnis Duo, without needing to manually transfer files.

  3. Cross-Platform Compatibility:
WebDAV is compatible with most cloud services, including Nextcloud, making it a flexible option for anyone using their own cloud solutions.

I know there are some other streaming services out there, but having a WebDAV option would give DJs more freedom to use their own private cloud setups securely. It’s a lightweight and efficient protocol that could integrate well with the controller.

Would love to see this in a future update! Anyone else think this would be useful?

Cheers,
georgymoori
