Problem with loop with virtual dj and ddj 800

Good morning everyone,
I need your valuable help. I bought about a month ago the ddj 800. I play with virtual dj because I have bought it. When I go to insert 4 loop I have to press the button that the loop is inserted for at least 3 seconds. It doesn't catch on right away. Do you have any idea how to fix this problem?
