Rekordbox 7.x export to USB broken HFS+ drive on windows 11

Ok so,

I have a pair of CDJ 3000's.

When you released Rekordbox 7 I updated and all was well until I had some new tracks to analyse and export to my USB.

On doing this, once I plugged into my CDJs the new tracks were missing all the metadata: no waveforms or grid or hotcues/memory cues. Loading these tracks the CDJ went into analysis mode. All the tracks already on there were fine.

I figured it was the files on the USB, so I re-formatted it and started from scratch. Now all my tracks were missing the data!

So I did it again, went back to Rekordbox 6, re-exported and all was fine.

It has now been months, I've been sticking to version 6. I tried again today after updating to the latest ver 7. Same thing.

Here's a video of both cases:

In order to get the 6 export to work I had to delete the Pioneer folder and re-export a 3rd time from 6 as it did not overwrite something and all tracks were still missing all data.

I know I am an edge case here, but since my CDJ 2000NXS2's I have had to format my drive into HFS+ on a windows machine. This is a ballache but I know how to do it and it has worked/still works on ver 6.

The reason is FAT32 on windows will not format more than 64GB I believe. Using another program like Rufus or others meant that the CDJ didn't see my 2TB drives files/libraries/playlists at all. It would read the drive as folders only. I have not tried ex-FAT ever, maybe I will and post my results as a comment later.

Inside Rekordbox 7 might I add (not in the video) all playlist and data appear as they should on the USB device libraries, both normal and plus.

Something is wrong and I have no idea what it is, but I would like to be up-to-date with my program installs at the very least.

Gabriel
