crossfader malfunctioning on DDJ-REV1

Was working fine for 4 months since I bought it but all of a sudden when i move the crossfader  anywhere from the middle position to the right it forwards the song way past its ending to the 225th bar . so in laymans terms if I have a song playing on deck 1 and try to bring in a song on deck 2 and move the fader to the right it F's up!

Anyone else have similar issue or have any ideas? Any help will be much appreciated.
