DDJ FLX 10 AUDIO GLITCHES
Need some help. I upgraded to DDJ FLX 10 from my Numark Mixtrack Platinum. I run SERATO DJ PRO . Never had any issues in the past 4 years of using the Numark along with Serato on this laptop.
Now with the FLX 10, I have the audio constantly cutting in and out and at times it freezes for 3-5 seconds too.
Asus Studiobook Pro with pretty good specs
Windows 11
Intel Core i7
32 GB RAM
1 TB SSD
NOT Using Stems at the moment since I am not able to get regular stuff to work without problems. I tried all the power and USB settings to optimize performance.
Anyone has faced this before and can help me with a good solution?

I am also having this issue. I have 2 high performance Dell Laptops, running i7 processors, 32GB of Ram and Nvidia graphics. I am running Serato DJ Pro, latest drivers and firmware for both laptops and the ddj-flx10. Doesn't matter if I adjust latency on the DDJ-FLX AISO Utility to minimum or maximum. I've also followed guidleines for low latency audio settings on windows, all power managment settings have been adjusted to never turn off USB ports, hard drives or video. C-States and Turbo boost have been disabled, LatencyMon applications shows I should not be having any issues with real-time audio. I previously ran a Numark NS4FX on both laptops with 0 dropouts ever.
Despite all that I get the following:
1) Random dropouts during playback with no other apps running, these last for less than a second to 1.5 seconds. As an example during a performance the other night this occurred about 20-30 times, serato logs don't show any audio dropouts, it seems to be a complete system intermittent pause.
2) Besides it happening with nothing running at all other than Serato, there are some things I've been able to confirm through testing that cause it to happen 100% of the time such as opening the browser (both Edge and Chrome), launching the start menu, loading a long track from tidal(FLACC or AAC), loading a shorter track < 4:00 in tidal (FLAC only)
I've opened a ticket with both Serato and Pioneer for assistance, at first I thought it was a serato issue as it does not happen in Rekordbox but the fact that it does not occur when using my Numark NS4FX leads me to conclude it could be either the drivers/firmware of the FLX-10, Serato, or some combination of both.
THE SAME TROUBLE , AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO RESOLVE THIS. IS A VERY EXPENSIVE CONTROLER.... THIS PROBLEMS ARE AN IMPORTANT PROBLEM..... ALPHA TETHA MUST BE RESOLVED AND , THEY ARE RESPONSABLES FOR AN DEFECTUOS CONTROLER THIS IS SHIT... I WORK PROFESIONALY AND IN MY SETS NOW ARE THIS CRACKS IN THE SOUND IT'S INADMISIBLE
Yes it is crap, I couldnt agree more. I had had several emails with support who offered no help other than pointing me to Seratos optimization page and claiming it must be my computer because it can't be their driver or device. I have two laptops that run other controllers fine, I exceed the minimum requirement and high performance requirements of Serato DJ Pro and the buffer in the driver is set well above what my baseline latency is. Their response was even with the buffer settings adjusted accordingly its still possible my computer is causing the issue and not their product and they can't troubleshoot PC issues. The problem follows their controller, it's not both of my high end laptops that have no issues with other controllers. I've told support what I think of the lack of help and that I'm boxing up their product and returning it tomorrow and never buying another alpha theta or pioneer dj branded product again. I've also reached out to escalate my complaint not that it will matter much after tomorrow morning because it will be back on the shelf at my local retailer.
