Cant connect laptop to RX3

So i got the RX3 i installed drivers connection for usb before plugging in usb connector done everything that everyone has said on here and also digital tips friends and all i get after pressing source is the computer sign and 1 and 2 flashing but when i press them there is absolutely nothing. Need help or it will have to go back to shop i have wanted this since lockdown. I can use it normally exporting tracks to usb through rb but i want to use the laptop now definately not in performence mode whats the point of that export onpy but is isnt working im using 6.8.5 version. I even tried with the 7 and it still didnt work.. your help please is really needed
