XDJ-XZ Recording Locked Audio Files
My XDJ-XZ unit seems to have picked up a strange bug with the most recent firmware update where occasionally (and without any obvious pattern) the audio files created when recording to a USB in USB port 2 are locked in Permissions on Mac OS. The files can still be played and the audio is there, but they can't be moved / copied / deleted. When you try to you get a generic "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items." If you open it in Finder / Get Info and unlock the Permissions on it it behaves like you've unlocked it but then still can't be deleted. It also can't be deleted using the rm command in Terminal either. It's quite infuriating as not only do I have mixes I need access to that I can't use but I've also got GBs of files on my USB I can't get rid of without formatting constantly.
Also just to note this issue isn't consistent / easy to replicate. This morning I've recorded 16 tracks from vinyl sources (without turning off the controller, removing the USB and plugging back in etc) and 13 work fine and 3 are locked / I don't have permissions to copy / paste / delete etc.
Has anyone else had this issue / have a workaround?
