rekordbox 7 slow and laggy? -> solved!

it seemed especially laggy when some pioneer sites/api's were down, so i blocked rekordbox 7, and rekordbox agent (!) on my mac from accessing internet, using little snitch. this has solved the problem of the software taking 7 minutes to start, and the interface and midi connection being too laggy to work with

on windows i didnt have this problem, but you can try blocking internet access using the windows firewall advanced settings (create a 2 new rules)

tl;dr:

block all internet access for rekordbox 7, or work offline
