Facing Issues Running Pioneer DJ Software on AMD Server with DDJ-1000 – Any Advice?

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out because I'm having trouble running Pioneer DJ software (Rekordbox v6.7.3) on my AMD-based server with the Pioneer DJ DDJ-1000 controller. The software isn't performing as smoothly as I expected, and I’ve been troubleshooting without much luck. Here’s what I’ve observed so far:

  • The software lags and occasionally crashes during DJ sessions, which is disruptive to the performance.
  • Despite having ample CPU and RAM on the server, it seems like the resources aren't being fully utilized, yet the performance issues persist.
  • The audio quality drops intermittently while using the DDJ-1000, especially when loading tracks or switching between decks.

My setup includes an amd server, and an SSD storage drive, so hardware-wise, it should be more than sufficient for running Pioneer DJ software. However, these issues have been quite frustrating. I’ve tried updating the drivers for the DDJ-1000, reinstalling the software, and optimizing the server, but the problems continue.

Has anyone experienced similar problems when running Pioneer DJ software on AMD hardware? Are there any specific settings, software versions, or configurations I need to check or adjust to resolve these issues?

Any advice, tips, or insights would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

Gabriel
