"The path to the Dropbox folder is too long"
I get this error when pressing "Login" in the Cloud -> Library Sync setting page in rekordbox. I have done all of the previous steps mentioned in the setup guide.
The exact message I get when pressing login is:
"Cloud Library Sync Error
The path to the Dropbox folder is too long. Change the Dropbox desktop application settings so that the Dropbox folder is relocated to a directory with a path that is 70 characters or less"
I am on a Mac M1 with Sonoma 14.5. Dropbox is installed to:
Users/mynamexxxx/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox-CloudOptionDJteam
I was forced to install Dropbox to that path and cannot change it. When viewing that part of the Dropbox settings I can see the following message:
"This version of macOS requires Dropbox folders to be stored at a specific location"
I believe this is due to a recent Dropbox update that conforms to Apple's File Provider API.
Is there any solution to this? This completely breaks Cloud Sync via Dropbox at the moment.
