DDJ1000 + PLXCRSS12

I am trying to optimize setting up my DDJ1000 with a PLXCRSS12 turntable. I'd essentially like to utilize the 3 remaining channels on my DDJ1000 to play digital files and then still have the option to toggle in between Analog and Digital on my PLXCRSS12 on CH4. Is there a way that I can have the PLXCRSS12 connected to my DDJ1000 and still use its controller features? I currently have it set up such that that PLXCRSS12 is simply connected via RCA to CH4 on my DDJ1000 and USB directly from the PLXCRSS12 into my computer/laptop. Rekordbox is recognizing the PLXCRSS12 in the list of devices/controllers...however I cannot seem to get the timecode/DVS feature working with the PLXCRSS12 and I cannot play digital files on it. When in Analog mode I can play records fine and the sound seems good (despite reading posts that the phono output on the DDJ1000 is not optimal for playing vinyl). Is there some additional configuration I need to do in Rekordbox or additional licensing I need to use the timecode/DVS feature on the PLXCRSS12?
