XDJ-AZ - Right Performance Pads Not Working
I was playing with my XDJ-AZ and I noticed that the right hand performance pads are not lighting up or functioning correctly. You can tell that hitting the buttons seems to work with Hot Cues, but none of the other performance function (Beat Loop, Slip Loop, Beat Jump) buttons or pads work. I see that the Slip Loop button is slightly lit up, but when I hit the pads, it acts like hot cues only. You can see on the screen that it shows the hot cue function is selected and even see that the pads show up on the screen and seem to function. But other performance function buttons will not light up. Also, of the 8 performance pads in the right side, only the left half have color.
I tried dropping from the newer 1.10 firmware down to 1.05 with no luck.
I'm going to open a ticket with Alpha Theta, but I suspect a hardware issue. But possibly someone else has a possibly fix?

Hi John Grant
Thank you for reporting this issue.
Did you already create a ticket about this issue?
Yves
@Yves - I called in to the support line last night, and they said someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours. But I wasn't given a ticket number.
Hi John Grant
I checked on our system and it seems you have had a correspondence with our team in the US.
Let me know if you need additional help

To the various AlphaTheta Support Reps,
I can't thank you enough on helping me resolve my issues with my XDJ-AZ. I was getting conflicting info between GC and AT on how to get a replacement device sent to me, and I was getting a bit concerned about possibly getting stuck with a broken device. At some point, Stephen R and Pulse (?) just took the ball and ran with it by getting me a FedEx return label to get the device shipped back to AlphaTheta. To my surprise, the replacement device was at my door within 7 days of me handing device to FedEx.
The kind of care you gave me really places your company in a much higher light in my mind.
In the meantime, I'm running some usage and load tests over the next several hours to see how it holds up.
Please thank all of the reps that worked on getting my issue resolved.
Sincerely,
John Grant
