Faders and High/Med/Low knobs not working.

Faders and High/Med/Low knobs not working.

I just bought a FLX4 and have used other of the same board before. But for some reason, when I went to go set this up and started trying to mix and play music, the faders and high/med/low knobs weren't working. I have all of the audio settings set up correctly, but I cannot figure this out. Also when it shows the mixer panel on Rekordbox, all of those do not light up. How can I fix this?

Make sure you are using a stable USB connection.

  • Try another USB cable;
  • Try to connect the USB cable to other USB ports (please use a USB-IF Certified cable that can be used for communication (USB 2.0, 480Mbps), not a cable for charging);
  • Disconnect other products connected to the computer;
  • Make sure to connect the DJ device directly to the computer without a USB hub;
  • If you are using a USB converter, please make sure you use a genuine Apple product for higher stability.

Also, if the mixer panel was not highlighted in rekordbox, it is likely that the external mixer mode has been selected in rekordbox. Please activate the Internal Mixer mode instead.

Go to Preferences > Audio > select the Input/Output tab > under Mixer Mode select Internal
