Lost Music Files

On switching on rekordbox recently it said all my files were missing in collection and existing playlists , getting exclamation mark (file missing) next to every tune although they are all still there on my external drive, all my music is on an external hardrive and i had to add again some music for a gig i had recently back onto rekordbox , however i still have no access to playlists or collection , can anyone help ,
