Songs won't load onto rekordbox, tried everything

There is always a red X/no symbol, next to a song every time I attempt to download it. I've looked up every issue and it isn't an issue with formatting, connection, location, or updates. I have a friend who has the exact same software as I do (DDJ-400) and rekordbox. He can download everything regularly and play it. We've compared both of our products and can't seem to find the issue with mine...how should I go about trying to fix this?
