djay pro // DDJ-SX2 // auto-enables cue when channel volume fully down to 0

hi. first time poster. long time reader.

i have looked everywhere for some sort of indication about why this is happening, but ... perhaps obviously ... to no avail.

here's whats up.

- ddj-sx2
- djay pro v5.2.6
- any channel > channel volume reduced to 0 > suddenly cue button activates

ive tried everything. firmware updates. software reversions. midi file re/pre/she-mapping. nothing stops the madness ... and if i wanted to be haunted by things that are meant to be faded out, i would hang out with any of my ex's. but i dont want that. and also theyre ex's. or something.

anyway, i want the cue button / cue function for a given channel to remain in an off state when the corresponding channel volume moves to a 0 state. if its at all helpful, it didnt used to be this way, nor did i actively update it in order to perform this function. it seemed -- and this is just my perception which is fully probably incomplete and/or flawed -- simply to happen one day.

(and, if this point was at all unclear: i hate it.)
