crss12 firmware program will not launch

on windows 11, the crss12 firmware java program will not load, to update the firmware.  What is the deal?

Hi Partyexpress !!

Please follow the recommendations below for the firmware update of your DJ unit:

  1. Make sure that you do not rename the extracted file;
  2. Make sure you copy the .upd file (firmware update file) into an empty USB drive;
  3. Try USB drives in different sizes and try smaller than 64 GB;
  4. Please try different USB types, 3.0 and 2.0 (in particular for older models);
  5. Make sure to format the USB drive to FAT32 with a "single MBR partition".
     

If you have access to another computer, you might want to try exporting the update file to a USB key from another computer, and see if that makes any difference.
