XDJ-RX2 Not Consistently Connecting to Rekordbox Performance Mode (HID Mode Issues?)

Hey everyone,

I’m having trouble getting my XDJ-RX2 to consistently connect to Rekordbox Performance Mode in HID Mode. Sometimes it works perfectly, showing my library on the RX2 screen, but other times it won’t connect properly wont show my library when in performance mode.

The Issue:

• When I press MIDI on the RX2 and load decks 1 and 2, sometimes it works fine, and I can browse my Rekordbox library on the RX2 screen (under the MIDI mode button)
• Other times, Rekordbox or the PC doesn’t seem to recognize the RX2 properly, and it stays in "MIXER MODE: MIDI CONTROL) under the MIDI button, and if I press the rekordbox button  just says "rekordbox (EXPORT)"
• If I go to export mode in rekordbox a link button appears in the lower left and I can connect that way but I can't see all of my beatport streaming playlists.
• If I restart my computer and reconnect everything, sometimes it works, but it seems completely random.
• The Rekordbox library only appears under the MIDI button, not the Rekordbox button on the RX2.

What I’ve Tried So Far:

• Ensured Rekordbox is in Performance Mode before connecting.
• Set Audio Device to "XDJ-RX2 ASIO" in Rekordbox Preferences.
• Assigned Deck 1 & Deck 2 manually by pressing the flashing LOAD buttons.
• Tried different USB ports and cables.
• Reinstalled the XDJ-RX2 ASIO driver (Windows).
• Restarted my computer and RX2 multiple times.

Other Details

• Rekordbox Version: 7.0.9
• Operating System: Windows 11
• XDJ-RX2 Firmware: Ver 1.32
• Connection Type: USB (not using a hub)

I’d really appreciate any help or insight from others who have experienced similar issues. It’s frustrating because it randomly works sometimes, but I can’t find a reliable way to get it to connect every time.
