in case anyone has this issue its the power cable ,must be type c both ends or the power cable ,why pioneer send the unit out with a cable that has an adaptor on one end is beyond me . also would be nice for that lead to have Pioneer stamped on it and not to be the same cable as 50 other devices .

Hola THEDOGSS,

i don't know on GRV6 but on FLX-4 that means controller is not getting enough power.
If using generic USB hub try to connect without it or try a better one.
