STATEMENT OF REPUDIATION TO PIONEER DJ AND SERATO
I am a DJ who plays only occasionally, and from time to time, I enjoy mixing just for fun. Because of this, I have no need to constantly invest in high-end equipment or software. I have always used the Rane SL3 without any issues, on the same operating system and with the same version of Serato DJ Pro. However, after support was discontinued, as soon as I connected the software to the internet, my interface simply stopped working.
How many of you have experienced the frustration of seeing a perfectly functional piece of equipment arbitrarily blocked?
Pioneer DJ and Serato decided to discontinue the SL3, but they went even further: they implemented a remote block with no technical justification, forcing users to purchase new equipment unnecessarily. This is not just planned obsolescence—it is a clear case of commercial blackmail against those who have supported these brands for years.
Is this how Pioneer DJ and Serato choose to treat the DJ community?
We demand that the SL3 be made usable again without restrictions. The DJ community deserves transparency, respect, and the freedom to decide when and how to upgrade their setup.
Sincerely,
Eduardo Silva aka Dj Wireless

The RANE SL3 is not our product and Serato is not our software.
I would kindly suggest giving your feedback to Rane and Serato.
