Do Curved Monitors Improve Rekordbox and Serato UI Visibility?
Hey everyone,
I’m thinking about upgrading my DJ setup and considering a curved monitor instead of a traditional flat screen. Since I primarily use Rekordbox and Serato DJ, I want to know if a curved monitor improves UI visibility, especially when managing multiple decks, waveforms, and track browsing. The immersive design of a curved display sounds appealing, but I’m unsure if it truly enhances workflow for DJing.
For those who have experience using a curved monitor for DJing, does the screen curvature help with better viewing angles and reduce eye strain during long mixing sessions? Does it affect the readability of text, waveforms, or other UI elements in Rekordbox or Serato? I’ve also heard mixed opinions on whether ultrawide curved monitors can replace a dual-screen setup, so I’d love to hear thoughts on that as well.
If you’ve used a curved monitor for DJ software, what’s your experience been like? Are there any specific models you’d recommend? Also, any downsides to consider before making the switch? Looking forward to your insights!
