Firmware XDJ- AZ Updating
Hi I've followed the instruction several times for this to not work on my unit, the download doesn't kick in, it just stays on- connect usb storage device into top usb1 port.

I have this exact issue. I have followed the instructions exactly. I have tried multiple USB drives, including starting with a fresh one, freshly formatted to FAT. I put in the drive as instructed, and I get nothing. It just sits there and doesnt recognize the drive. The unit recognizes the drives when I plug in ones that have music on them, but it does absolutely nothing when I plug it in during firmware update mode.
make sure when you download the file you unzip and there are no extra characters like a "1" after the filename in case you had older FW in the same folder on your pc
the file on your flash drive should be named EXACTLY XDJAZv121.UPD
and try to use low sixed flash drivees like 32GB or less, i use a 16GB to be safe with FAT file systems for updates
