Locked Out of CD Players Due to Rekordbox Subscription – No Warning, No Fix!
Hey everyone,
I’m beyond frustrated with Pioneer DJ and Rekordbox right now. I recently ran into an issue where I can’t connect my CD players to my computer or use Performance Mode. After hours of troubleshooting, I finally found out—through Reddit, not Pioneer DJ support—that this is due to a subscription issue.
The problem? Rekordbox never told me that my subscription was the reason I was locked out. No error message, no warning—just a vague connection failure. And when I went to fix it? The subscription plans are “under maintenance” and can’t be changed! So now I’m stuck with no way to practice and no way to even pay Pioneer to fix their own problem.
This is just the latest in a long list of frustrating Rekordbox issues. Between the confusing cloud library setup, constant bugs, and now this subscription failure, it’s becoming clear that Pioneer DJ isn’t delivering the professional experience they market.
Has anyone else run into this? Any workarounds? And Pioneer DJ, if you’re reading this—how do you plan to fix this mess?
